A unique dry film hydrothermal lubricant especially formulated for heavy industrial applications where high temperatures prohibit the use of normal lubricants or dry film lubricants that have a flammable base. Typical applications are in Aluminium die casting and extrusion industries, glass bottle moulds, rubber tyre moulds, cement kilns.

Molub-Alloy 491-C is suitable for heavy industrial applications where high temperatures rule out conventional lubricants or ‘dry film’ lubricants with a flammable base. It is formulated using a concentrated blend of lubricating solids in a water base.
For normal operations including the removal, disassembly or slow and intermittent movement of parts exposed to temperatures in excess of 140°C (300°F).
Can be used up to temperatures up to +450°C (842°F) where dry-film application is required.
