  • Product category Extreme Environment
  • Sub-category Chemical Resistance
  • Application Chemical Resistance

Description

Speciality lubricating oil blended using perfluoroether basestocks. Suitable for gears and pumps in direct or indirect contact with aggressive chemicals, oxidants and low temperatures. Can also be used as a vacuum pump oil in selected operations.
Perfluoroether lubricant for gear, pump and general lubrication.Castrol Brayco 1720 Plus series oils are clear, colorless low molecular weight perfluoroether oils with added corrosion preventative. They are chemically inert to virtually all chemicals and safe to use in direct contact with oxidants such as LOX/GOX and chlorine. Castrol Brayco 1720 Plus series oils are non-flammable and non-toxic.Castrol Brayco 1720 Plus series oils are intended for use as gear, pump, and lubricating oils where direct or indirect contact with aggressive chemicals, oxidants, and where low temperatures are routine. They can also be used as vacuum pump oils in operations requiring vapour pressures as low as 10-4 torr. They offer corrosion protection to iron, copper and a various metals. These fluids generally exhibit excellent shelf lives due to their intrinsic inertness.
